Krumping - similar to traditional weapon dances with tribal roots, Krump is characterized by free, expressive, and highly energetic moves involving the arms and chest.
Popping - a group of styles which includes Robot & Moonwalk, Popping is based on the technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a pop in the dancer's body, done continuously to the rhythm of a song in combination with various movements and poses.
Locking - relies on fast and distinct arm and hand movements combined with more relaxed hips and legs. The movements are generally large and exaggerated, and often very rhythmic and tightly synched with the music. Locking is big on fun and character.

Melbourne Shuffle - The Melbourne shuffle is a style of dance that originated in the late 1980s in the Melbourne underground scene. The basic movements in the dance are a fast heel-and-toe action with a style suitable for various types of electronic music. Some variants incorporate arm movements. This is not a hip hop style.
Liquid - a highly fluid dance style that focuses primarily on continuous flow with the dancer's arms and hands, Liquid came out of the Electronic Dance scene and is rapidly gaining popularity.
Digits - often combined with Liquid, Digits is dancing focused in the hands and fingers, using isolation and fluid movements to create amazing illusions.
Newstyle - an energetic form of Hiphop dance, Newstyle takes elements from nearly all styles and mixes them together to create a form that is truly free and without restrictions.
House - is an extremely funky style danced to House music. It is improvisational in nature and emphasizes fast and complex footwork combined with fluid movements in the torso.
Breakdance/BBoying - Breaking is a highly energetic dance style associated with amazing power moves and street battles. Breaking consists of: toprock, footwork, freezes and power moves. A skilled BBoy (someone who does Breaking) will mix all the elements together and dance them in time with the music.
Tutting - considered a sub-style of Popping and possibly inspired by Egyptian hieroglyphics, Tutting is a style that exploits the body's ability to create geometric positions and movements, predominantly with the use of right angles. It is performed with minute attention to the musical rhythm, typically by altering positions in a stop-and-go fashion.
Animation - a concept of dance whereby the dancer appears to be Animated, either as a cartoon-character, or moving in a slow-motion/vibratory fashion. Inspired by old cartoons and Claymation movies, it involves a high amount of body control.
C-Walk - The Crip Walk, or C-Walk, is a type of dance performed by Crips that originated in the early 70s in Compton, Los Angeles. This style of dance today is known as the Clown Walk.
